Motueka Integrated Catchment Management Research Programme
This is a 9 year research programme (commenced in July 2000) with the goal of conducting multi-disciplinary, multi-stakeholder research to provide information and knowledge that will improve the management of land, freshwater, and near-coastal environments in catchments with multiple, interacting, and potentially conflicting land uses. The programme uses the Motueka as a case study; much of the information is relevant to the Wairewa project.
